With 25 years of civil engineering and management experience, Christina has been a driving force in delivering transformative transportation solutions. Her strong communication skills, collaborative approach with staff and stakeholders, and a respect for cost control while maintaining high standards of quality have been critical cornerstones in her success. Christina’s extensive background spans both the private and public sectors, including a notable tenure as the Director of Transportation Development for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. In that role, she successfully advanced nearly $4 billion worth of projects to construction, balancing technical innovation with a steadfast commitment to quality and cost efficiency.
As the Executive Director of Transportation and Transit for Osceola County, Christina is committed to setting new benchmarks in delivering safe, innovative, and sustainable transportation solutions, embodying the spirit of “Be First to What’s Next.” She is responsible for the oversight and management of the County’s transportation network from planning and design to construction and operations. This includes $400 million in active construction projects and delivery of nearly $3 billion of planned improvements over the next 10 years. Her responsibilities also include operations and maintenance of the Osceola Parkway toll road, administration of the County’s Traffic Management Center, and coordination of public transit services including LYNX and SunRail.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Christina has a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.
Beyond her professional achievements, Christina has been a dedicated mentor and leader in organizations like WTS, where she has held numerous roles, including Central Florida Chapter President. Her commitment to empowering the next generation of transportation professionals exemplifies her belief in paving the way for the future.
