Douglas J. “Doug” Callaway has served as Executive Director of TEAMFL (Transportation & Expressway Authority Membership) — Florida’s toll road and bridge association — since June 2024.

- President of Floridians for Better Transportation (FBT) – a business and transportation advocacy association, 2003-11.
- Member of the Economic Development Transition Team for Governor-elect Rick Scott and headed up the Agency Review of FDOT, late 2010.
- Transportation Program Manager with Carter & Burgess, a national engineering consulting firm based in Texas, 2001-02.
- Member of Transportation Advisory Committee for the transition effort of President George W. Bush, January 2001.
- Federal Programs Coordinator for the Florida Department of Transportation, 1989-2001.
- Guest speaker at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and before numerous state, regional and national audiences.
- Worked in Washington and Florida for two U.S. Members of Congress – Clay Shaw and Tom Lewis, in the 1980s.
- Graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, B.A. in Political Science, 1980.
- Married to Sheila since 1984, father of two daughters, two sons-in-law, and grandfather of two grandchildren.
