James Harris, Partner and National Tolls Director, joined the Linebarger firm in 2004 and manages the firm’s toll-related operations. James was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1996 and is also admitted to practice law in Colorado and Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Houston Law Center. James worked for three years in the Office Harris County Attorney where he served as the Public Bureau Chief, gaining extensive experience in the collection of government receivables and the operation of toll roads. Immediately prior to joining the Harris County Attorney, he worked for Lockheed Martin IMS as the manager of their EMS collections contract with the City of Houston.
