Jose Clavell has 25 years of experience managing transportation engineering projects, including regional transit planning and NEPA compliance; airport, seaport, and freight multimodal planning; areawide and corridor studies, PD&E studies, and master plan studies; and conceptual and preliminary roadway and bridge design projects. He has been instrumental in the advancement of Miami-Dade County’s Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Program premium transit corridor projects, and the development of the PD&E Scoping and multimodal tools with FDOT Central and District offices contracts. Jose has also contributed to FDOT’s PD&E Manual and PD&E Standard Scope of Services and Staff Hour Estimation Guidelines. He has contributed to all phases of transportation from systems planning to construction engineering.
