Vipin Mehta, P.E., M.A.P.A., Founder and President of Mehta and Associates, Inc. (Mehta), has 44 years of experience in construction engineering and inspection (CEI), surveying, and roadway and highway design. Vipin is originally from India but always had aspirations to live and work in the U.S. Thanks to the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, Vipin was offered the opportunity to pursue a civil engineering career in the U.S. and moved to the Midwest (Cleveland, Ohio) in 1969. After nearly a decade of working as a P.E. for construction firms, Vipin then decided to found Mehta in 1977. Vipin and his family relocated to Florida after learning about the immense opportunities for infrastructure development throughout the state and has since never looked back. Throughout the past four decades, Mehta has focused primarily in providing CEI support for projects with the FDOT, Florida Turnpike Enterprise, Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX), and Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). In his spare time, Vipin enjoys connecting with people on topics such as politics, philosophy, and spirituality. Vipin and his wife Hansa have two children, Radha and Rave’, who are also engineers and actively work for Mehta, as well as two grandchildren, who are the biggest joys of his life.
